Assumption College, Worcester MA

• The Assumption College Honors Program inducted 60 new members from the Class of 2021, including Samantha Bengiovanni of Berlin, on Sunday, Oct. 29, before an audience of administrators, faculty, and families.

Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• The theatre program at Eastern Connecticut State University presented the holiday classic "Little Women" from Nov. 28-Dec. 3. The play took place in the intimate venue of Eastern's DelMonte Bernstein Studio Theatre, with a special emphasis on being "sensory-friendly" for audience members with spectrum disorders. Among the participants was Andrew Rich of Berlin, who served on the set construction crew and wardrobe run crew. Rich majors in Theatre.

Johnson & Wales University, Providence RI

• Megan B. Carroll of Berlin was named to the Dean's List at Johnson & Wales University for the fall 2017 semester.
