Campus Notes - Berlin College Students

BERLIN, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Belmont University, Nashville TN

• A pair of students from Berlin achieved the Dean's List at Belmont University for the fall 2017 semester. Eligibility is based on a minimum course load of 12 hours and a quality grade point average of 3.5 with no grade below a C. The local honorees are Natalie Souza and Alex Veronneau. Approximately 35 percent of Belmont's 8,080 students qualified for the fall 2017 Dean's List.

Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• The Eastern Connecticut State University men's and women's cross country teams both had seasons to remember in fall 2017. Among the students who competed this year was Kevin Russell of Berlin, who majors in Exploratory Professional Studies. For the men, this was their fourth season in a row competing in the regionals, where the team put together a formidable performance.
