Campus Notes - Berlin College Students

BERLIN, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Coastal Carolina University, Conway SC

• Emily Thibeault, of Berlin, a communication major, has made the President's List at Coastal Carolina University for the fall 2017 semester. To qualify for the President's List for high academic achievement, students must earn a 4.0 grade point average and must be enrolled full time.

Emmanuel College, Boston MA

• Samantha Graves of Berlin was recently named to Emmanuel College's Dean's List for the fall 2017 semester. To earn a spot on the Dean's List, Emmanuel students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or higher for a 16-credit semester.

Roger Williams University, Bristol RI

• Six students from Berlin have been named to the fall 2017 Dean's List at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester. Local honorees are Emily Dittmar, Nathaniel Revenaugh, Ashley Rutledge, Jacqueline Saraceno, Katelin Stewart and Matthew Vernacatola.

University of Vermont, Burlington VT

• Meghan Oates has been named to the dean's list for the fall 2017 semester at the University of Vermont. Oates, from Berlin, is majoring in English in the College of Arts & Sciences. To be named to the dean's list, students must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or better and rank in the top 20 percent of their class in their respective college or school.
