Champlain College, Burlington VT

  • Cassius Cain of Berlin and John Long of Kensington have been named to the Champlain College Dean's List for achieving a grade point average of 3.5 or higher in the spring 2018 semester.

  • Tunxis Community College held its 47th Commencement on May 30 at Central Connecticut State University. A total of 805 degrees and certificates were conferred to 645 graduates from 60 Connecticut towns as well as Massachusetts and New Jersey, and included noncredit certificates awarded through Continuing Education and Workforce Development. Berlin residents receiving degrees and/or certificates were Dorothy Adamkiewicz, Dimitri Alston, Elena Bolotova, Christopher D'Angelone, Megan Graves, Mark Jolley, Andrew Mals, Julia Meade, Charlene Monroe, Jaydipkumar Patel, Sean Pentalow, Valerie Perzanowski, Spencer Puzio, Casey Ringquist, Joanna Robinson, Elizabeth Rozycki, Mariah Samuels, Suchada Sayachak, Anthony Scalzi, Alexandria Spring, Meghan Stanwicks, Brittany Vannuccini, Jamie Wilkinson and Robert Yorski.
