BERLIN, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

American International College, Springfield Ma

• Andrew Bernucca, of Kensington, has been named to the spring 2018 Dean's List at American International College (AIC) in Springfield, MA. Dean's List students are full-time students with a grade point average between 3.3 and 4.0. Bernucca is majoring in Communications at AIC.

Manchester Community College, Manchester CT

• Manchester Community College is pleased to announce its roster of students achieving President’s List recognition for the spring 2018 semester. The President’s List recognizes the exceptional scholarship of full- and part-time students who earn a 4.0 or “A” grade point average in their courses. Full-time students who have completed at least 12 credits for the semester with no withdrawals or incomplete grades in the semester are eligible for this honor. Part-time students who have earned a 4.0 GPA with no withdrawals or incompletes in the semester, and have accumulated 12 credits at MCC, are eligible for the Part-Time President’s List. Full time honorees from Berlin are Sylwia Drag and Lisa Regan.
• Silas Fischer, Sarah Izraelevitz, Philip Mader and Joanna Szymanski, all of Berlin, have been named to the Manchester Community College dean's list for the spring 2018 semester.

Springfield College, Springfield MA

• The following students from Berlin were named to the Springfield College dean's list for academic excellence for the spring 2018 term: Kristen Madeia, Business; Daniel Pirruccio, Computer and Information Sciences; Allison Souza, Health Science/Occupational Therapy; Taylor Nogiec, Health Science/Pre-physician Assistant; Alexandria Perrone, Health Science/Pre-physician Assistant; Brittany Sullivan, Health Science and Pre-Physical Therapy; Dhruvi Patel, Health Science; Alyssa Germano, Mathematics and Computer Technology.; Kyle Naples, Movement & Sport Studies; Nicholas Naple, Psychology; and Krystal Hawkins, Youth Development. Criteria for selection to the dean's list requires that the student must have a minimum semester grade point average of 3.500 for the semester.
