American International College, Springfield MA

• Andrew Bernucca of Kensington has been named to the spring Dean's List at American International College. Dean's List students are full-time students with a grade point average between 3.3 and 4.0.

Becker College, Worcester MA

• Dylan Anthony Grasso of Berlin graduated from Becker College at its 229th Commencement ceremony, on May 6, 2017. Grasso earned a Bachelor of Arts in Interactive Media Design Cum Laude.
  Becker College honored 464 candidates for graduation from undergraduate and graduate degree programs and the Accelerated Studies program.

Champlain College, Burlington VT

• Cassius Cain of Berlin was named to the Champlain College President's List for the spring 2017 semester. Students who are named to the President's List have achieved a semester grade point average of 4.0 or higher.
• Stephanie Yanaros of East Berlin has been named to the Champlain College Dean's List for the spring 2017 semester. Students on the Dean's List have achieved a grade point average of 3.5 or higher during the semester. Yanaros is majoring in Business Administration.

Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• Eastern Connecticut State University's annual graduation ceremony was held at the XL Center in Hartford on May 16, with more than 12,000 family members and friends cheering on their sons and daughters, brothers and sisters, as 1,180 undergraduates and 58 graduate students received their diplomas. Berlin graduates were Nicholas Germano, Bachelor of Science in Communication; Bianca Jacques, Bachelor of Arts in Sociology; Jennifer Petrario, Bachelor of Science in Environmental Earth Science; Stephanie Russo, Bachelor of General Studies in Psychology; Alexander Taddeo, Bachelor of Science in Accounting; and Kayla Tenore, Bachelor of Science in Communication.

Keene State College, Keene NH

• 1,245 students have been named to the spring 2017 dean's list at Keene State College, including Matthew Cote and Michael Lisitano of Berlin.

Marist College, Poughkeepsie NY

• A pair of Berlin residents graduated from Marist College the weekend of May 19.
  Katherine Burek received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication. Morgan Imossi received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester MA

• On Saturday, May 13, on the Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) campus quadrangle, over 1,000 bachelor's degrees were awarded during the university's 149th commencement ceremony. Thomas deRito of Berlin was awarded a bachelor of science degree in mathematical sciences with distinction.
