BERLIN, CT — Here are some recent notable achievements for college students from Berlin, as reported by readMedia Newswire.

Assumption College, Worcester MA

• The Assumption College Department of Athletics has announced that Hunter Tralli, of Berlin, has earned a coveted spot on the 2017 Assumption College baseball team. Tralli, Class of 2019, will compete during the Greyhounds' spring season, which began in late February when the team traveled to the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary, NC, for a four-game series, followed by nine games during their annual spring break trip to Florida.

Merrimack College, North Andover MA

• Merrimack College recognizes three Berlin students who have achieved dean's list for fall 2016.
  They are Kathleen Bosse, Taylor Budney and Karlee Pedemonti. Each semester, Merrimack College undergraduate students earn the right to be named to the dean's list by earning a minimum 3.25 GPA based on a 4.0 GPA grading system.

Rensselaer Polytechnic University, Troy NY

• Erin Goodwin of Berlin is a member of the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute lacrosse team. The Chemical Engineering major helped the Engineers to a 9-5 victory over SUNY Oneonta in the season opener.
