Carwash Fundraiser for Mooreland Hill School Baseball Field on Saturday, August 1st 9am-1pm. Masonic Temple - Across from Avery's Soda

The Mooreland Hill school class of 2014 will host a car wash and also sell bracelets to raise money to dedicate the baseball field to former Headmaster Michael Dooman. Mr. Dooman was passionate about baseball and loved Mooreland Hill School. He attended Mooreland and played on this field as a child, he later coached the Mooreland Hill team as a teacher and went on to oversee the school as headmaster before his passing in 2014. Mr. Dooman discussed on several occasions the need to make improvements to the baseball field. The money raised will allow the school to buy a sign naming the field in his memory. Ultimately, the class of 2014 has a goal of building new dugouts which was Mr. Dooman’s vision for the field.
