College Achievements For Berlin Students

Tunxis Community College, Farmington CT

• Over 80 Tunxis students received awards and scholarships at the 35th Annual “Student Achievement Recognition Ceremony,” held this spring at Tunxis Community College, Farmington. Close to 80 scholarships and $86,765 in scholarship funds was awarded. Recipients from Berlin were James Lynch (Christopher Anthony Sirois Memorial Scholarship), and Elena Bolotova (Mathematics Academic Discipline Award).

University of Albany, Albany NY

• Livia Hendrickson from Berlin has been named to the spring 2018 Dean's List at the University at Albany. Students named to the Dean's List earned at least a 3.5 GPA.

University of Delaware, Newark DE

• Olivia DeGroff and Hallie Nygren, both of Berlin, have been named to the University of Delaware Dean's List for the spring 2018 semester. To meet eligibility requirements for the Dean's List, a student must be enrolled full-time and earn a GPA of 3.33 or above (on a 4.0 scale) for the semester.

University of Hartford, West Hartford CT

• The University of Hartford is pleased to announce the following students from Berlin have been named to the Dean's List for spring 2018: Erika Mazurkiewicz, Alexa Miano, Darby Trowbridge, Nicole Vasil, Calvin Nastyn, Kelly Cappa, Eve Betterini, Courtney Brennan, Sarah Leduc, Andrew Bosco, Brian Gennaro, Dylan Lowe, Alexander Siembab, Chaela Franck, Zoe Zimber, Darcy Peterson, James Fagan, Ryan Steck, Mikayla Bordiere and Kelly Rohan.
