College Notes - Berlin Students

BERLIN, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• Eastern Connecticut State University's annual graduation ceremony was held at the XL Center in Hartford on May 15. Among the 1,200 students who graduated that day were 70 graduate students.
  Alexander Taddeo of Berlin was awarded a Master of Science degree in Accounting.

Marist College, Poughkeepsie NY

• A pair of students from Berlin have been named to the Marist College Dean's List for the spring 2018 semester. Courtney Nelson is a member of the Class of 2019 and is majoring in Business Administration, and Bridget Fox is a member of the Class of 2021 and is majoring in Biomedical Sciences.

University of Scranton, Scranton PA

• Benjamin K. Kall of Berlin was among more than 1,650 students named to The University of Scranton's Dean's List for the 2018 spring semester. The Dean's List recognizes students for academic excellence. A student must have a grade point average of 3.5 or better with a minimum number of credit hours during the semester to make the Dean's List. Kall is a freshman biochemistry, cell, molecular biology major in the University's College of Arts and Sciences.
