Could Berlin Become Home to a Medical Marijuana Dispensary?
A Berlin company been chosen for consideration by the state.
Currently there are six medical marijuana dispensaries in Connecticut and there is a proposal to increase that number to nine, the Hartford Courant reports.
The emphasis is on adding locations in both Fairfield and New Haven counties, and 16 applications have been received including one from Legendary Wellness Connecticut LLC, 93B Deming Road, Berlin. The proposed location of the firm’s dispensary was not disclosed.
There are 5,337 registered patients and the state will make a decision early next year on where to add the new dispensaries.
