Don't Like Your Property Assessment In Berlin? Appeal It
The deadline to file an appeal with the Berlin Board of Assessment Appeals is Friday, Feb. 17, at 1 p.m.

BERLIN, CT — Don't agree with your property's assessment and don't want to pay the amount of taxes the town will charge you?
Friday is the deadline to formally file an appeal with the Town of Berlin to, possibly, take care of that.
The Berlin Assessor’s Office reminds property owners and taxpayers that they must file a written application with the Berlin Board of Assessment Appeals by Friday, Feb. 17, if they are appealing their assessment.

Application forms have been available online and at the assessor's office since Feb. 1.
According to state statues, they must be completed and received by the assessor’s office no later than close of business Friday, Feb. 17.
