UPDATE: Dog Found After Escaping From Car Accident
The accident occurred in Berlin and Gilly was seen heading toward Middletown, according to Middletown Animal Control.

A happy ending for a change... “Gilly” was found about an hour ago at Germano Fence on the Berlin Turnpike, apparently healthy! Thanks to all that looked for him!

Gilly the dog was in a car involved in a car accident in Berlin, near Spruce Brook Road, Middletown Animal Control: said.
“The car flipped over and he escaped,” they wrote. ”He was last seen on Spruce Brook heading towards Middletown.”

The ACO said Dog Gone Recovery Volunteers is assisting with the search. Sage Crary Stachowiak posted on a Facebook thread for Gilly and said:
Thank you everyone - he is my friend’s dog and I am helping to head up the social media - $1000 reward is offered for the safe return of Gilly!
Gilly was not wearing a collar. Anyone with information is asked to call 860-638-4030.
