Elders' Encyclopedia Launch

A Berlin Girl Scout created the Elders' Encyclopedia, which is a resource guide intended for use by those who have elderly loved ones.

All local elders and caretakers of the elderly are invited to the Berlin Senior Center (located at 33 Colonial Drive) on September 12th at 10:00 am to launch the publication of the Elders’ Encyclopedia. This booklet is the product of a Girl Scout Gold Award Project, which is the highest award to be earned in the Girl Scout community. The Elders’ Encyclopedia is a resource guide to be used by those with elderly loved ones. It features a variety of services, aiming to help ease the challenges of dealing with aging loved ones. The encyclopedia offers helpful hints, a list of categorized health care services, levels of living assistance services, legal help resources, and activities for seniors in the Berlin, CT area. Come to receive a copy of the booklet and enjoy refreshments, all whilst showing your support for a local Girl Scout!
