"From Native American Sites to the Leatherman: Archaeology in the Greater Berlin Area" - a presentation by State Archaeologist, Dr. Nicholas Bellantoni

The Berlin Historical Society hosts an evening with Dr. Nicholas Bellantoni, Connecticut State Archaeologist, who will present on the archaeolological heritage of Berlin and its surrounding areas, beginning with the ice age and the earliest native inhabitants through to the mysterious wanderer, the Old Leatherman.  In addition he will discuss why archaeological sites in the area are significant, how we can learn about the past through excavations, and why preserving the past is so important to our future.
