On Friday, September 16, 2011, the Queen Ann Nzinga Center presents pianist Orice Jenkins performing a Tribute to Nat King Cole concert at Trinity-on-Main in New Britain. Jenkins, born in Hartford in 1994, is a self-taught musician who has arranged and composed works for orchestras, wind ensembles and small groups. A senior at East Hartford High School, he plans to attend college and pursue his musical career in New York after high school.
Doors open at 5:30pm. The performance begins at 6pm.
