'Final Girl' Horror Books Available At Berlin Library

BERLIN, CT — Halloween is fast approaching and the Berlin-Peck Memorial Library said recently it has a full supply of books that exemplify the "final girl" genre of horror stories.

Essentially, "final girls" are the last people alive after a villain wreaks his or her havoc on people ... think Jamie Lee Curtis in "Halloween."

The style of horror, in recent years, has become "a thing" and is now noted by library officials.

"If you love a good slasher movie, you know all about the final girl trope. Here are some books featuring final girls who survive the horror," wrote the library.

The Berlin-Peck Memorial Library is located at 234 Kensington Road, Berlin.
