Firefighters Battle Blaze at Old Berlin Train Station

Amtrak service is affected by the fire, necessitating passengers to go to either Hartford or New Haven. BREAKING

BERLING, CT — The old train station on Depot Street in Kensington caught fire Wednesday morning, causing problems for Amtrak commuters, Fox61 reported.

The fire, reported around 4 a.m., was in the main portion of the historic station, which has been undergoing renovation.

Amtrak passengers who board or debark in Berlin had to travel to either Hartford or New Haven due to the blaze.
