4-Alarm Fire Destroys Berlin Home; Traffic Impacted: Police: REPORT

BERLIN, CT — A four-alarm fire destroyed a house on Worthington Ridge near Mill Street Thursday, according to reports.

No injuries were reported, according to WFSB Channel 3.

Berlin police and fire personnel responded to the area, prompting multiple road closures around Worthington Ridge and Mill Street, police said.

Authorities asked residents to avoid the area while emergency crews worked at the scene.

According to the Berlin Police Department, there was no danger to the public.
