GoNetspeed Expanding Internet Service In Berlin, New Britain

The company has begun to expand its high-speed internet services.

BERLIN, CT — GoNetspeed, a high-speed fiber-to-the home Internet provider, announced today that its fiber build portions of Berlin and New Britain are beginning, according to a company statement. Residents can visit www.gonetspeed.com/hartfordcountymap to see the areas in Hartford County in orange where service should be available by the end of the year.

GoNetspeed has recently completed fiber-to-the-home construction to more than 22,000 households in Fairfield, Black Rock, Hamden, North Haven, Rocky Hill and West Hartford. The company offers residential speeds ranging from 150 Mbps to 1 Gbps symmetrical which means equally fast upload and download.

For businesses, GoNetspeed claims it customize speeds beyond Gigabit capability if necessary.

Today, the company can serve more than 70,000 homes throughout its network in West Hartford, New Haven, Bridgeport and Beaver County, Pennsylvania.

GoNetspeed will consider expansion into new neighborhoods and areas throughout Connecticut based on consumer demand, according to the statement.
