BERLIN, CT — Interested in the Town of Berlin's rich history?

The Berlin Historical Society is sponsoring a special forum on Thursday, July 18, that should quench your curiosity.

In a program called "Historical East Berlin," Berlin-Peck Memorial Library librarian emeritus Cathy Nelson will guide program guests on a journey chronicling the history of that prominent part of town.

It will take place from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the library, which is located at 234 Kensington Road, Berlin.

Nelson is expected to discuss and showcase old houses, buildings, the community center, post office, and parks in East Berlin.
