Holocaust Denier's Event Sparks Outrage: Report

NEW BRITAIN, CT — City officials are calling on a local Polish organization to cancel a talk Friday by a man who they say is a Holocaust denier, The Middletown Press reported. Edward Reid is scheduled to speak at the Haller Post in Little Poland Friday night.

Promotional materials for the event claim Reid is a history researcher and movie producer revealing "the truth about...Polish history," but two City Council members Kay Breslin and Carlo Carlozzi say he is actually an anti-Semite.

Carlozzi told that Haller Post didn't know Reid was a Holocaust denier when they booked the event.
