How Busy Was Berlin PD Last Month? Very Busy

The Berlin Police Department released its list of calls that officers dealt with last month, part of a new information initiative in town.

BERLIN, CT — So just how busy was the Berlin Police Department last month?

Very busy, according to recent call listings the department put out last week.

In fact, during December 2025, the BPD reported the following activity:

• 77 motor vehicle accidents.

• 24 breach of peace/disorderly conduct disturbances.

• 28 larcenies.

• 31 suspicious person/vehicle reports.

• 38 calls for simple assistance.

• 196 motor vehicle stops

• 4 stolen vehicles

• 23 welfare checks.

• And 601 other miscellaneous calls.

Police said the monthly recap will become a regular thing in 2026, with January's numbers expected next month.

"We are proud to serve and protect Berlin every day and thank you for your continued support as we head into 2026," wrote the BPD.
