Kensington Resident Kenneth P. Olander Passes Away at Age 64

Kenneth P. Olander, 64, of Kensington CT. passed away October 17, 2015 at John Dempsey Hospital after a brief but valiant battle with cancer.

He was the son of the late Peter and Josephine (Lis) Olander.

He is survived by his wife Cheryl (Schwarm) of 42 years and his daughter Krystyna Marchese (Joseph) of Bristol, two grandchildren, Gianna and Grayson; two brothers, Phillip Olander (Donna) of Bolton, and Gregory Olander (Kathy) of Wallingford; one sister Barbara Olander of Albany, and several nieces and cousins.

Funeral services with military honors will be held at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, October 22, at the State Veterans Cemetery, 317 Bow Lane, Middletown.
