From Berlin Funeral Home.Madelyn 'Babe' M. Laviana, 92, of Kensington, wife of the late Joseph Laviana passed away on Friday, September 25, 2015 at her home. Born in New Britain on May 17, 1923, the daughter of the late John and Helen (Treahy) DeLowery, Babe was a lifelong resident of Kensington.Babe is survived by 3 sons – John and Rosemarie, Jeffrey and Susan and Joseph and Leslie, and a daughter Carole, 7 grandchildren – Caitlin, Spenser, Corinne, Benjamin, Dylan, Jamie and Shawn. She was predeceased by 2 brothers – John and Joseph DeLowery. A special thank you to her caregiver, Miranda, and Cathy and Erica from Masonic Partners Homecare &amp; Hospice.Burial will be at the Connecticut State Veterans Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
