Major Mexican Chain Opening New Restaurant In Berlin

The restaurant will open this week, with a grand opening ribbon-cutting coming later in the week.

BERLIN, CT — A popular fast-casual Mexican food chain is opening a new eatery in Berlin this week, with a grand opening celebration planned.

Chipotle Mexican Grill is opening its first location in Berlin on Wednesday, Oct. 8, at 1078 Farmington Ave., Berlin.

A new feature at the restaurant is the brand’s signature "Chipotlane," which is a drive-through pick-up lane that allows guests to conveniently pick up digital orders without leaving their cars.

In addition, there will be a special ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, Oct. 10 to commemorate the opening.

The hours of the eatery are 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day.

There are about 3,770 Chipotle fast-casual restaurants nationwide, with 41 in Connecticut alone. Add in international eateries, and Chipotle's total roster includes more than 3,800 worldwide.
