Man Dies In Berlin Route 571 Wreck

BERLIN, CT — A New Britain man is dead following a motorcycle crash in Berlin early Friday morning, according to state police. Michael Skorupski, 35, of 29 Rackliffe Drive, died in the wreck.

Police said Skorupski was driving a 2009 Suzuki on Route 571 westbound near the intersection with Route 71 A at 12:17 a.m. Skorupski's motorcycle hit the guard rail on the median and caused him to be separated from the motorcycle.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. The case remains under investigation.
