Mary Caramia, 94; Seamstress Who Lived in Kensington
Calling hours are being held on Sunday with the funeral services planned for Monday.

Mary Caramia, 94, of Kensington, died Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at Ledgecrest Health Care Center, Kensington.
Mary was born in New Britain, and was the daughter of the late Carlo and Concetta (Caccamo) Berardinelli.

She worked as a seamstress for Topps Coat, New Britain, and was a member of St. Paul Church, Kensington for several years.
Mary is survived by her son Peter Caramia and his wife Maria of Bristol, CT., her daughter Judy Bosco of Kensington, CT., her brother Panfilo Berardinelli of Bristol, CT., her sister Tina Haddad of New Britain, CT., her five grandchildren – Karen King and her husband Doug, Dana Gilland and her husband Christopher, Christan Caramia and his wife Nikki, Carla Caramia and her husband Dan Ogonowski and Chrissa Caramia, her twelve great grandchildren – Angela, Andrew, Ryan, Ava, Gianna, Gabriella, Reese, Creighton, Ethan, Katie, Haley and Hannah and several nieces and nephews.

Mary was predeceased by her husband Natale Caramia, her brother John Berardinelli and his wife Rina, her sisters Josephine Gambino, Iolanda Cestonaro and Caroline Nicotera, her sister-in-law Gladys Berardinelli and her brother-in-law Fred Haddad Sr.
Funeral Rites for Mary will be held Monday August 17, 2015 at 8:30a.m. with the procession departing at 9a.m. from the Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home, 764 Farmington Ave., New Britain, CT., followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10a.m. at St. Paul Church, 485 Alling St. Kensington, CT. Committal Service and final resting place will be in St. Mary Cemetery, 1141 Stanley St., New Britain, CT. Relatives and friends may call at the Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home Sunday from 4-7p.m.
