BERLIN, CT β€” Local residents Monday will have the chance to meet and engage with local law enforcers in a relaxed setting, as the Berlin Police Department hosts a "Coffee with a Cop" event.

These meet-and-greets are an opportunity for folks to interact with law enforcers to discuss issues of concern or, simply, to get to know the men and women charged with keeping the peace locally.

The event Monday, June 26, will take place at Swiches Coffee & Donuts at 1196 Farmington Ave., Berlin (former Whole Donut) and the meetup will be from 8 to 10 a.m.
