Middlewoods of Newington Celebrates Their 12th Anniversary!

Middlewoods of Newington Assisted and Independent Living Community celebrated their 12th Anniversary with a disco-themed party.

Middlewoods of Newington Assisted and Independent Living Community celebrated their 12th Anniversary with a disco-themed party for residents, family members, and staff on Friday, March 13th. The party, organized by Activities Director, Lynn Tracey, and the entire Middlewoods team, featured fun retro food and drinks, music and dancing, and entertainment by the Dyn-O-Myte Disco Review band of Wethersfield. Staff and residents dressed for the occasion in bell bottoms and polyester and danced to familiar favorites like, “Get Down Tonight” and “The “Hustle”. The Middlewoods mascot bear stopped by for a visit as well, dressed as “Beary White” grooving to the music. The event was held in the community’s newly renovated Great Room and was a memorable night for all.
Middlewoods of Newington is located at 2125 Main Street in Newington. For more information about the “New” Middlewoods of Newington or to tour the community, please contact Kathy Braga at 860.667.1336 or visit our website at www.middlewoodsofnewington.org.
