MLK Day Impacts Announced In Berlin
Martin Luther King Jr. Day is on Monday, Jan. 15.
BERLIN, CT — Berlin officials have announced the municipal and school impacts associated with the upcoming Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend.
According to the town, all municipal departments will be closed on Monday, Jan. 15, in observance of the holiday honoring the iconic civil rights hero, who was slain in 1968.
The holiday weekend, however, will not impact the town's trash and recycling collection scheduled next week.

Meanwhile, all Berlin schools are also closed on Monday, Jan. 15.
Normal town/school operations will resume on Tuesday, Jan. 16.
