American International College, Springfield MA

• Andrew Bernucca, of Kensington, has been named to the fall 2017 Dean's List at American International College. Dean's List students are full-time students with a grade point average between 3.3 and 4.0.

Assumption College, Worcester MA

• Assumption College has announced that Maya Wolanin, of Berlin, is one of 545 students who have been named to the College's prestigious undergraduate Dean's List for the fall 2017 semester. Wolanin is a member of the Class of 2021. To earn a spot on the Dean's List, Assumption students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 for a five-class, 15-credit semester.

Cedarville University, Cedarville OH

• Evan Cornwall of East Berlin was named to Cedarville University's Dean's Honor List for fall 2017. This recognition requires a 3.75 GPA or above for the semester, carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours.

Gettysburg College, Gettysburg PA

• At Gettysburg, students use the opportunity to study globally to pursue diverse paths in multiple areas of study. Over 200 students studied globally in the fall 2017 semester, representing over 30 majors in over 25 countries. Cara Johnson, Environmental Studies major from Berlin, studied in Greece, while Lindsey Paszczuk, Health Sciences; Music major from Berlin, studied in Argentina.

University of Albany, Albany NY

• The University at Albany congratulates Livia Hendrickson from Berlin on being named to the fall 2017 Dean's List. Students named to the Dean's List earned at least a 3.5 GPA.

University of Hartford, West Hartford CT

Westfield State University, Westfield MA

• Westfield State University freshman Mitch Maslowski of Berlin has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week. Maslowski placed third in the 200 meter finals at the Wesleyan Invitational with a time of 23.12 seconds to qualify for the New England Division III Championships.
