BERLIN, CT — The town has intentions to build a new, state-of-the-art senior/community center in town, with a special forum slated for Thursday, Nov. 1, to garner senior citizens' inputg

On Wednesday, Nov. 1, Berlin Mayor Mark Kaczynski will be at the Berlin Senior Center to discuss the ongoing proposal.

His talk will be at 1 p.m. at the center, which is located at 33 Colonial Drive.

"This is your opportunity to express your opinion on the project," wrote the senior center on the project.

In 2021, town officials unveiled plans for a new facility that would double as a senior/community center.

In addition to working out site details, the town is also working on a potential cost for the proposal.
