A GoFundMe page has been set up to help the family with funeral expenses.
BERLIN, CT — Local police continue to investigate a multi-vehicle wreck that claimed the life of a toddler, with the Berlin Police Department identifying the victim Monday.
Meanwhile, the Berlin community is coming together to support the family, which started up a GoFundMe page to raise money for the little girl's funeral.

Salgado was rushed to the Connecticut Children's Medical Center in Hartford, where Salgado was pronounced dead.
"Our condolences go out to the family and friends of the victim," wrote the BPD Monday.
The Berlin Volunteer Fire Department posted a notification Monday urging the community to donate to a GoFundMe site to help the family of Ella pay for funeral expenses.
The BVFD offered up a link to the site.
"The family of the young girl involved in yesterday's tragic accident could use some support, please visit their page and help out if possible," wrote the BVFD via social media.
The girl's father, Mark Salgado, wrote on the GoFundMe page that he and his family are "devastated."
"I am in disbelief that I am making this page right now asking for help for a funeral. My beautiful daughter Ella Salgado, was involved in a horrible accident today on the Berlin Turnpike in Connecticut, where she unfortunately lost her life and at this time we are not financially able to afford the cost of the funeral," wrote Mark Salgado.
Police said the accident involved three vehicles total in or near the intersection of Route 5 (Berlin Turnpike) and North Colony Road.
The accident is being investigated by the Midstate Accident Reconstruction Squad and the BPD's investigation unit.
Anyone with information related to the accident is asked to call BPD Sgt. Brett Kelly at 860-828-7080.
