
BERLIN, CT - A tree that came down on some wires in New Britain knocked out power for 412 Eversource Energy customers in four towns Wednesday morning, including Berlin, an official for the utility said.
The tree fell on Corbin Avenue in New Britain, Eversource spokesman Mitch Gross said. Power went out in New Britain, Wethersfield, Berlin and Kensington as a result, he said.
In the case of Berlin, 301 customers had no electricity Wednesday morning, he said.

Eversource crews were able to restore power by 8:54 a.m., Gross said.
