Improvements have been made to the popular spot on Berlin Turnpike.

The Hawthorne Inn is scheduled to reopen Thursday evening, capping off months of renovations to the building at 2421 Berlin Turnpike.

Waheed Siddiqui and his partners bought the property in a foreclosure auction in March, according to The Record Journal. The partners reportedly spent about $1.6 million plus $200,000 to replace the roof and plumbing and heating systems, according to the report.

The inn closed last July and was put on the market for $1.9 million.
