Sally Murdoch, 84; Kensington Resident Who Owned Travel Agency

Sally (Parker) Murdoch, 84, of Kensington, passed away on Friday May 29, 2015 at Newington Health Care Center.
Born in Barrington, RI, Sally grew up in New Britain, graduated from The Northfield School for Girls in Massachusetts and attended the University of Connecticut. She resided in Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, Washington, DC and New York City before moving to Kensington in 1965. Sally was a travel agent and owner of Center Travel / Kensington Travel.

Surviving is a son, Walter Murdoch, his wife Laurie and their three sons Jeffrey, Gregory and Daniel of Glastonbury; a daughter, Lesli Murdoch of Newington, a niece and five nephews.
A memorial service will be held Friday, June 5 at 11 A.M. at First Church of Christ Congregational, 830 Corbin Ave., New Britain. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family in Fairview Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Church of Christ Congregational or to the American Red Cross, 209 Farmington Ave., 3rd Floor, Farmington, CT 06032.
