
BERLIN, CT — A national educational ranking outfit has weighed in recently on what school districts in Connecticut are best to teach at, with Berlin schools coming up 40th-best in Connecticut.
The rankings of Niche.com, which is based in Pittsburgh, Pa., include more than just teacher salaries, but generally schools in the higher rankings tend to pay more.
For example, in Connecticut, the average salary of Greenwich Public Schools for teachers is $152,915, tops in the state, according to Niche.

It's no surprise that Greenwich is tops in Connecticut when it comes to places to teach, according to Niche.
As for Berlin, teachers in town make an average of $83,332 a year as Berlin ranks 40th in Connecticut.
