Come learn why Morton Lauridsen is the favorite living American composer of choral music right now. His music is a reflection of Samuel Barber’s music in some ways, and there will be a sample of that heartfelt music, along with Mulholland’s stirring setting of Robert Burns’ immortal poetry. Peter Niedmann’s new work, premiered in 2011 by the GMChorale, has a majestic quality fit for a cathedral! Although Bethany is not a cathedral, it is a soaring, air-conditioned space, conveniently located off Route 9 at Exit 21 on Rte 372. Many GMChorale members will be among the 85 voices singing this glorious music. Hoping to see you on Saturday -
