Take A Tour: Berlin's Five Priciest Homes On The Market Right Now
These are the most expensive houses on the market in Berlin.
BERLIN, CT — One house stands well above the rest of Berlin's housing market right now.
The most expensive home for sale in town costs about $600,000 more than the next one, according to listings on Zillow.com, and three of the top five are new homes going up in Kensington.
No. 1 on the list is 1640 Orchard Road, asking $1,450,000. The 5,498-square-foot Colonial, built in 1990 and fully renovated by Arena Custom Construction, has five bedrooms, two full bathrooms and two half bathrooms on 3.67 acres. Behind a stone-accented front, the kitchen centers on an oversized waterfall-edge island, with a wet bar nearby. The formal living room and a sunken sitting room each have a fireplace, and an enclosed, heated sunroom opens onto a balcony. Upstairs, the primary suite has a vaulted ceiling. It has been on Zillow for 30 days.
