Tell Us About - and Show Us - the Veteran in Your Life

In honor of Veterans Day, Patch wants to give our readers an opportunity to tell us about the veteran close to them.

Did your grandfather serve? Your sister? Your father? Your brother? Your aunt? Do you want to tell us a story about your veteran? It can be funny, happy, sad - a story of pride, or one of relief.

Send a brief story and photo of your veteran with their name, branch of service, rank, era and town in which they reside or resided, as well as your name and hometown.

We will accept submissions through the end of Veterans Day, and will keep adding to the story as more are received.
