Terrified of Technology? There’s Help!

Advice for technophobes tonight at Berlin-Peck Library.

Chances are if you’re reading Patch, you’re fairly comfortable with a computer. But you probably know someone who isn’t. Have your digitally challenged friends or relatives stop by the Berlin-Peck Memorial Library at 6 p.m. Monday, October 15, 2012, for a presentation called Demystifying Technology for Late Bloomers.

Abby Stokes, author of Is This Thing On?, gives a stress-free introduction to computers, digital cameras and other digital devices and platforms. She’ll review how to select and hook up a computer, how to sign up for and use the Internet, and how to send email.

For those who can’t make it to the presentation, Stokes’ book is also available at the library.
