Town Releases Berlin Manager's Severance Terms

The town manager's final day of work is scheduled for Jan. 31.

BERLIN, CT — A severance agreement between the town of Berlin and town manager Denise McNair includes six months' pay and continuation of medical insurance for two and a half years, the Hartford Courant reported.

McNair will receive $65,686 in six monthly payments, and her medical insurance will continue through July 2019, the paper reported.

Public works director Jack Healey will assume the role of acting town manager starting Feb. 1.
