Two Berlin PD Officers Honored By Local Schools

BERLIN, CT — Two local police officers were honored by the Berlin School System as being "Friends of Berlin Schools."

The Berlin Police Department said this week that officers Mark DePinto, Berlin's school resource officer, and Brandon Lagueux were feted with "Friend of Berlin Schools" awards at the Berlin Board of Education meeting on Monday.

Giving the duo their honors were Berlin Board of Education President Julia Dennis and Berlin Superintendent of Schools Brian Benigni.
