The Transgender Sunday of Remembrance calls us to mourn and honor the lives of those among us who may or may not have identified as transgender, but were murdered because they were perceived as transgender. These lives are commonly silenced, including by family. This is an opportunity to meet hatred and indifference with love and respect in the experience of worship.
