Unitarian Universalist Church in Meriden Worship Service - November 22, 2015

Being Unitarian Universalist is learning “how to think and be outside the box.” As we welcome new members into this faith community, so too we welcome into our midst a Guest at Your Table. This is the small box with a slot in the top for coins and dollar bills and with images on all sides providing a glimpse of the justice partnerships made possible by our Unitarian Universalist Service Committee. Our youngsters will distribute these boxes so that we might bring them home, place them on our dining tables, and fill them over the next many weeks, our individual and communal participation in the UUSC’s Guest at Your Table Campaign. The commitments we celebrate this Sunday are gifts given and received, inviting us to practice a faith without borders and justice outside the box.
