Unitarian Universalist Church in Meriden Worship Service - September 13, 2015

September 13th "Streams That Meet and Merge" Worship Leader: Rev. Dr. Jan Carlsson-Bull Worship Associate: Barbara Kline

The seaside, the lakeside, a favorite pond, your local pool, your backyard, your water tap-so many possibilities for gathering a fluid portion of your summertime. While church has been open for worship and more all summer long, this is our time of intentional ingathering. Schools open. Worship services shift from 10 am to 10:30 am. Our senses awaken to the prospect of autumn, but not before we merge the seasons in that medium that signals the sustainability of all life-water! Bring your samples. Bring your stories that accompany those samples. We’ll pool them all in a common bowl and at the end of the service; we’ll head outdoors to nurture our ever-thirsty Spiral Garden. We’ll also acknowledge our gratitude for the many among us who have volunteered in countless ways over this past year as we stand on the threshold of a new season in our life together.
