Visions For Vacancies: Berlin

We want your opinion about the best use for this Berlin commercial space.

BERLIN, CT — Periodically, Berlin Patch will highlight a vacant commercial property and ask you to tell us what you think would be the best use for it.

Forget what zone it’s in, ignore setback regulations, dump lot coverage rules and all the other zoning jargon that puts most people to sleep. If you had your way, what would you like to see there? What would be the best use for the community?

Today we are featuring space in a small strip plaza at 1943 Berlin Turnpike, adjacent to the Irving gas station. It has easy access to Routes 9 and 372 and I-91. Current tenants of the ploaza include Turnpike Wine & Spirits and Elle Nails & Spa.
