WATCH: Berlin Gets Into the Podcast Business

BERLIN, CT — Town officials are turning to a new media platform to communicate directly with residents, launching a video podcast series produced at Berlin High School.

The show, titled “The Berlin Bridge,” features Berlin Mayor Mark Kaczynski and Berlin Town Manager Ryan Curley discussing municipal updates and answering community questions.

The series is recorded at the high school’s media hub and is intended to provide regular, accessible updates on town government activity.

In its first episode, Kaczynski and Curley outlined several ongoing and proposed initiatives, including plans for a new splash pad and early discussions about a potential indoor pool.

They also reviewed the town’s budget process and highlighted upcoming housing developments.

The episode included a segment addressing resident questions, focusing in part on road and bridge work across town. Officials described the segment as an effort to respond directly to community concerns and improve transparency.

No formal decisions were announced during the episode, but officials indicated that additional details on recreation projects and development plans would be shared as proposals advance.
