BERLIN, CT — September is National Library Card Sign-Up Month and the Berlin-Peck Memorial Library is urging folks to comply because they might just win something.

The library is hosting its annual Library Card Sign-Up Month raffle.

Each raffle entry gives participants one chance to win a $25 gift card to The Ave (adults) or a $25 Amazon gift card (children and teens), plus a Berlin-Peck canvas tote bag filled with library swag.

Here's how to win: Get a new Berlin-Peck library card, renew your Berlin-Peck library card, or refer a friend to get their Berlin-Peck library card

Those who refer anyone with a Berlin, East Berlin, or Kensington address will get their own library card and they will both earn an entry in the drawing.

"Make sure they mention your name when signing up. You can also pick up "refer a friend" cards to give out," wrote the library.
